After running for just 2 years, Stradbroke Triathlon has won the right to call itself one of the UK’s top rated triathlons. The 2016 event was voted runner up in an award for Best UK Triathlon 2016 by online race listing and review site Racecheck. Results were compiled by competitors completing a post event race review and scoring key components of the event. Stradbroke Triathlon received an amazing average score of 4.88 out of 5 to gain 2nd place. Nearly 250 Triathlons were in the running for the award.
The competitor reviews contained a lot of praise for the great atmosphere and fantastic marshal presence throughout the course. Many thanks must go to Norfolk & Suffolk 4×4 Response, Fressingfield Scouts, Stradbroke Community Centre and the numerous wonderful volunteers who lined the routes keeping competitors on course.

The swim is short and simple. A 160m pool swim with triathletes swimming two lengths of each lane before exiting the water..
The cycle route is amazing! A single 17km loop taking in some breathtaking (literally) views along country roads.
Sweet and simple the run is two laps of a 1.5km route.
